LORAC Multiplex 3D Lip Gloss

Bright and shiny.  If you want your lips to take center stage in your make-up look then I highly recommend these.  I can only say good things about these.  First and foremost, they are beautiful.  They also are moisturizing and have a plesant peach scent!!  I can't really comment on the staying power of these (or any lip gloss) cause....I don't time how long my make-up lasts.  *sight*  Once I'm out the door I assume things are gonna wear off throughout the day, I just reapply when I feel like I should.

Anyway,  I've got four shades which I'll describe.
Cliche: A super bright, hot pink with a blue shimmer duochrome.  Shimmer, not glitter.  This color leaves the lips stained a little bit!  Very pigmented for sure.
Polished: Probably the most "wearable" of these.  It's a light opalescent peachy pink with shimmers.
3D: I think this is the only straight up glittery gloss from this line.  It's basically a clear gloss but super loaded with golden bronze and pink glitter.  Amazingly, it's very smooth and not gritty at all.  Not sticky like a Dazzleglass, and I say this dazzles even more.  A must if you like glittery glosses.  Seriously, when I just hold the tube in the sunlight it sparkles like no other.  When you put it on, it's not like clear with some sparkles, it's a crazy layer of pure glitter O_O
Vivid: Another pink, but goes on peachy and not quite as IN YOUR FACE as Cliche, but still very unique.
This has a gold/green duochrome.

These run for $22 (0.17 oz for those curious).  Kinda pricy, but there are some unique colors and if any appeal to ya, it might be worth picking up!!  Not for those looking for a subdued lip look :)

A Couple Budget Beauty Favorites: Essence XXXL Nudes & Wet n Wild Singles

Ahhh, my last weekend before I start my second semester of college.  So I'm trying to get a few entries in on this blog so who knows when I'll have time to update again.  Just wanted to mention a couple affordable beauty choices!!

First is Essence XXXL Nudes lip glosses, there's 4 shades and I have two of them: 01 Pure Beauty, a pale slightly pink nude; and 02 Light Candy, a light peach.  These both have little silver specks in 'em, pretty!!  It's not chunky glitter or gritty at all.  Looks so nice in the tube, and you don't really see the shimmer on your lips.  They have an articial sweet caramel-ish scent, different from the regular XXXL Shines which have an articial berry candy scent, which reminds me of the blue Jolly Ranchers.  At first I thought the Nudes smelled kind of weird but it grew on me and I like it.  Just something to mention in case you can't stand those fake sweet scents.  These won't do much as far as actually making your lips a nude color, but it usually takes more than a gloss, no matter how opaque, for a good nude lip.  Besides, pale glosss tend to look kinda gross on their own in my opinion.  These are nice if you wanna layer 'em over nude lipsticks or something.  Available at ULTA.

Next up is Wet n Wild's single eyeshadows.  Wet n Wild has really stepped up their game.  I think I've tried all the single eyeshadows but I'm just gonna display a couple neutral ones.  And a little side note, I've heard Kitten (the purple shade) is a dupe for Strada by NARS.  I always thought Strada seemed pretty but I'd read reviews that nobody could get the gold glitter to show up.  I might try Kitten with MAC's reflects gold on adhered on top to get the effect I want?  But I digressssss.  The ones Imma show you are Brule (a matte cream) and Nutty (a kinda frosty browny taupe).  I'm sure you've already heard people rave about these.  They are soft and pigmented and lovely!  Sometimes I just put on MAC's Soft Ochre and Brule on top for a no-eyeshadow clean eyelid look.  This is honestly a really nice matte imo, could come in handy for blending out smoking looks.  Nutty is nice taupe-y color, I think a lot of people would love this color.  Well, I do!

Too Faced Brightening Blush: La Vie En Rose

My first review!  Ok, I'm not great with reviews but here we go.  Let's jump right into it.  La Vie En Rose is a pretty bright pink with a bit of a sheen, AND tiny gold shimmer/glitter.  But that's what drew it to me, I can't resist thigns with gold glitter :3  So if you don't like glitter in your blush at all, you can pass on this.  Most of the times that I've worn this I haven't really noticed any glitter on my face, although one time I looked in the mirror and did a double take, squinted, and saw that there were a few a little glitter particles on my cheeks.  -.-  Maybe it had something to do with what brush I used... Anyways it's a beautiful pigmented pink blush, but glitter haters should be wary.  It looks quite glittery in my swatch because I used my finger to swipe it on heavily.  It shouldn't look like that on your face!

Testing, testing...

Nighttime boredom has led me to start a blog.  Not too sure where I'm going with this.  Make-up blogs are plentiful but I'll problem do some reviews + swatches in hopes of helping other people.  I know that's what I always search for when I'm considering buying a product.  Other than that, this space will probably be home to my senseless musings and fascinations.  -.-
